On Friday, Union Minister for Education Dr. Chaw Chaw Sein, together with the officials, inspected the completion status of the recreation centre and 6-storey building, as well as the designated site for the construction of a 4-storey staff housing within Meikhtila University compound and gave instructions to ensure structural resilience, compliance with standards and timely completion of the project.At Meikhtila Education Degree College, the Union Minister inspected the designated sites to construct a canteen and stadium and provided necessary guidance. At No.3 Basic Education High School, Basic Education High School (ChiSet), and Basic Education High School (Tawma), the Union Minister oversaw the arrangements to reconstruct earthquake damaged school buildings and instructed on systematic preparations for upcoming school enrollment season.The Union Minister also visited Kyaukse University, Mandalar University and Yadanapon University, and inspected the planned sites to construct convocation halls, staff housings, multipurpose halls and completion condition of recreation center.In the afternoon, the Union Minister visited Mandalay University, met with the region Chief Minister U Myo Aung, the rector and professors.During the meeting, the Union Minister made discussions on matters pertaining to renovation and reconstruction of earthquake damaged buildings and facelifting measures.After the meeting, the Union Minister inspected the allocated areas for the construction of classrooms and dormitories.During the meeting with the faculty members, the Union Minister called for the active participation in research activities for the implementation of Centre for Research and Innovation (CRI). The initiative will be carried out at Naypyitaw State Academy, Yangon University and Mandalay University. Upon arrival at Mandalay Education Degree College, the Union Minister inspected the proposed sites to construct staff housing and fulfilled necessities.At Basic Education High School (Anee Sakhan) and Basic Education High School Branch (Pway Taung (Nandawon) in Pyin Oo Lwin Township, the Union Minister inspected the designated sites to expand classrooms. Likewise on Saturday morning, the Union Minister made inspection at the basic education schools within Pyin Oo Lwin Township, and coordinated necessities.mitv
