At the EGYPES 2026 energy exhibition in Cairo, Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi called on United States President Donald Trump to take action to end ongoing conflicts in the region and the Gulf. He warned that the continuation of the war would have serious consequences for regional stability and global security, and emphasized the urgency of halting hostilities.

The appeal highlighted the need for international intervention to prevent further escalation and mitigate humanitarian and geopolitical risks.
