Stake Driving Ceremony : Stakes drove for construction of new NSPNC building
The stake-driving ceremony for the construction of the new National Solidarity and Peacemaking Negotiation Committee (NSPNC) building was held Tuesday morning on a plot of land located at the corner of Shwe Kyar Pin Road and Myat Mingalar Road in Dhana Theiddhi Ward, Zabuthiri Township, Nay Pyi Taw.
At the ceremony, the Chairman of the Negotiation Committee, Lt-Gen. Yar Pyae, drove the central stake, while the Negotiation Committee Secretary Lt-Gen. Min Naing, Union Ministers, Nay Pyi Taw Development Committee Mayor U Kan Myint Than, and Judge Advocate General Lt-Gen. Myo Thant Naing each drove the ceremonial foundation stakes at designated locations.
They also scattered auspicious flowers, sprinkled scented water, and toured the site where the new NSPNC building will be constructed. The new National Solidarity and Peacemaking Negotiation Committee (NSPNC) building will be a two-story structure constructed using Union budget funds allocated under the National Solidarity and Peacemaking Negotiation Department program.
The site covers an area of 8.5 acres. The upper floor will contain a total of 41 rooms, while the ground floor will include a hall with seating capacity for about 180 people for meetings, a dining hall accommodating around 200 people, and a total of 42 rooms altogether. The building is also designed as an earthquake-resistant two-story structure, it’s reported.
