Public Notice: Myanmar CI Centres in Thailand Closed Today

Centres of the certificate of identity (C of I), which are established across Thailand, will be closed on 3 June, which is Thailand’s national holiday, the celebration of Thailand queen’s birthday, said the Labour Attaché Office.
The Labour Attaché Office made this announcement for Myanmar migrant workers on 2 June.
Temporary closure will be made on the national holiday, and all services of C of I centres will be resumed on 4 June regularly, it said.
C of I books have been issued at Samut Sakhon, Samut Prakan, Surat Thani, Chiang Mai and Chonburi, in order to help Myanmar migrant workers to live officially in Thailand under legal protection. And migrant workers can easily apply for C of I at 7-Eleven stores by paying 2670 baht and just selecting the preferred C of I centre name and date, it said. — MT/ZS
