Acting President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Chairman of State Security and Peace Commission Senior General Min Aung Hlaing who is currently in China on August 31st met with a delegation led by Prof. Gong Wei of Wuhan University in Tianjin. The meeting was attended by Secretary of the State Security and Peace Commission, Joint Executive Chief General Ye Win Oo, commission members, Myanmar Ambassador to China and senior military officers. Myanmar delegation led by Acting President and Chairman of State Security and Peace Commission Senior General Min Aung Hlaing attended a dinner reception hosted by Chinese President Mr. Xi Jinping at the Tianjin Meijian Convention Center on August 31st. The event was also attended by heads of state from over 20 countries including Russian President Mr. Vladimir Putin and Indian Prime Minister Mr. Shri Narendra Modi, together with the officials from 10 international organizations.

Enhancing Friendship and Cooperation: SSPC Chairman meets with Indian Prime Minister
Acting President and Chairman of the State Security and Peace Commission, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing met with Indian Prime Minister Mr Shri Narendra Modi in Tianjin on Sunday. The meeting was also attended by SSPC Secretary, members, Union Ministers, Myanmar Ambassador to China, and senior military officers as well as officials from the Indian government. During the meeting, matters pertaining to peace and stability in border areas, promoting in trade sector, enhancing friendship and cooperation between the two governments and armies were discussed.
