Terrorists are ruthlessly carrying out abductions, killings and armed attacks, using both heavy and small weapons, on wards and villages, as well as conducting drone strikes, all with the intent to harm civilians and spread fear. They are also indiscriminately planting landmines on public roads, targeting government offices with explosives and engaging in destructive acts without regard for reason or morality.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 20 October 2025 at 10:00 PM, a report stated that the deceased and injured individuals with shrapnel injuries were brought to Ka Ma Maung Town Public Hospital in Pharpon Township of Kayin State. When security personnel arrived at the hospital for further investigation, it was found that at 6:00 PM, on the same day, Daw Moe Sandar Tun (29 years old), a primary assistant teacher of the Basic Education Primary School in Phar Poung Village in Hpa-An Township, a resident of Phar Poung Village, was teaching students from the village at her house. At that time, two heavy weapon shells fired by KNU terrorist group exploded nearby. As a result of the blasts, U Thar Too (37 years old) and a female student, Ma Naw Wah Wah Bae, died on the spot. Additionally, the teacher Daw Moe Sandar Tun and Ma Naw Mu Kee (27 years old), along with nine students Saw Tun Tun Win (10 years old), Ma Naw Hla Hla Aye (seven years old), Ma Naw Char Pi (seven years old), Ma Naw Mu Naw Aye (six years old), Ma Naw Phal Wah (13 years old), Ma Naw Dar Bo (12 years old), Ma Naw Thu Zar Chit (eight years old), Ma Say Lay Phaw (seven years old) and Ma Sa Lin (six years old), sustained shrapnel injuries, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law.
