US Secretary of State Marco Rubio on Wednesday said the Trump administration has no intention of withdrawing from NATO, reaffirming Washington's commitment to the alliance. At the same time, he stressed US will press for "significant changes", urging member states to boost defense spending as part of a broader push for a rebalanced transatlantic security partnership.

This includes expedited arms sales, deeper industrial-base collaboration, and enhanced intelligence sharing.

On June 3rd, PDF terrorists carried out a drone attack near Basic Education High School located in Shwe Oh Kwin Ward, near Wetlet Township in Sagaing Region.The attackers allegedly launched four bombs from two drones about 3,300 meters southeast of Wetlet Township. As a result, a Grade-8 student Maung Thu Ra Naing, age 14, sustained injuries to his right arm. Security personnel reportedly transported the injured student to Wetlet Township People’s Hospital, where he is receiving necessary medical treatment.Local residents are said to be strongly condemning the attack, noting that the school was not a military target and describing the drone bombing of a place where children study as a senseless act of terrorism.
