The Myanmar Youth National Team has been placed in Group G for the 2026 AFC U-17 Asian Cup Qualifiers, which Myanmar will host at the Thuwunna Stadium in Yangon, according to the Myanmar Football Federation.

The group matches for 2026 AFC U-17 Qualifiers will be held from 22 to 30 November.

In Group G, the Myanmar Youth National Team will compete against Afghanistan on November 22, Nepal on November 24, Oman on November 28 and Syria on November 30.

The Myanmar U-17 National Team is coached by Head Coach U Kyaw Zeya. For the players to have more tournament experience, the team competed in the domestic U-21 Youth League under the name Falcon FC. Furthermore, the team recently travelled abroad in October to compete in the Thailand Invitation U-17 Tournament.

There are seven groups competing in the AFC U-17 Asian Cup Qualifiers. The seven teams that successfully qualify from these groups will earn the right to participate in the main 2026 AFC Asian Cup tournament, which will be hosted by Saudi Arabia from 7 to 24 May.
