This book marks the fourth publication from Asher, a prominent voice widely celebrated among young readers.
Regarding this book, the author writes, “Even if a woman cannot become the sun because of her life’s circumstances, she can still become a star that shines with her own light. And even if she cannot become a star, she can at least become a firefly that glows with its own light.
For women to live happily and joyfully, it is essential not to be satisfied with the life of a reflective sticker that depends on someone else’s light. Instead, they need to hold firmly to their confidence and inner strength and strive to shine with their own light.”
At the very beginning of the book, it reads… While thinking about what I could offer to my readers, I chose to contribute something specifically for women. I began writing not with the desire to achieve success, but with the wish that each reader would gain at least one benefit from reading my work.
When my first book, Smart Woman, was published, readers supported it far beyond my expectations. It sold out completely within a week and had to be reprinted repeatedly. Now, it has grown to the point where it has gone through numerous editions.
This third book, A Woman Who Lives Life Happily, was written as a continuation of that journey. It offers guidance on how women can avoid sacrificing their happiness, either knowingly or unknowingly, while striving to become capable and intelligent individuals and while overcoming life’s challenges.
Therefore, the book Smart Woman serves as the foundation, while The Woman Who Does Not Care About Life’s Hardships acts as the supporting pillar in the middle. A Woman Who Lives Life Happily is like the roof that covers them all.
However, this book does not contain unrealistic ideas. But it consists of short writings that gently remind women of things they may have forgotten.
The opening quotation of the book features the words of Nobel Peace Prize Winner Mother Teresa, “There is no key to happiness, the door is always open.”
Then, the first essay of “Happiness and Health” reads as follows:
“Happiness and health are causes and effects that are always interconnected. Good health leads to happiness, and happiness leads to success. Therefore, only those who enjoy good health can truly possess both happiness and success.
How should we live to maintain good health?
Since all actions and behaviours are rooted in the mind, the mind is what matters most. Mental resilience and a positive attitude are fundamental requirements for good health.
It concludes with the following paragraph-
“A positive mindset is a great and powerful source of health and strength within us. Therefore, whether one is a man or a woman, anyone who wishes to live life happily must cultivate and maintain positive thoughts and attitudes.”
The book also extends wishes: May all women become smart women. May they become women who are undeterred by life’s hardships. May all women be able to live their lives happily.
The book begins with the essay “Happiness and Health” and ends with “May You Be at Peace with Who You Are”, and the readers will find a total of 29 essays in this book.
