Myanmar film ‘Thabin The Mya Hninzi: The Beginning’ chosen for Lancang–Mekong International Film Festival

Director Min Set Thit has confirmed that the Myanmar film ‘Thabin The Mya Hninzi: The Beginning’ has been selected to represent Myanmar at the Lancang–Mekong International Film Festival, which will be held in China.
The screenplay of ‘Thabin The Mya Hninzi: The Beginning’ was written by Min Set Thit and Ingyin Han, with the script fully handled by Ingyin Han. Director Min Set Thit filmed the work for Sein Htay Film Production.
‘Thabin The Mya Hninzi: The Beginning’ has been chosen as Myanmar’s representative film at the Lancang–Mekong International Film Festival, which will take place in Yunnan, China, from 27 November to 1 December.
The director noted that being selected for such an international festival was made possible thanks to the continuous support and affection of the fans of ‘Thabin The Mya Hninzi’. He added that he and actress May Mi Ko Ko will attend the festival together, representing not only themselves but the entire ‘Thabin The Mya Hninzi” team and all their devoted fans.
He expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the audience for their unwavering support.
The film features a large cast including Htoo Myat, Henry San, May Mi Ko Ko, Cindy Myat, Min Arkar, Gu Gu, Yoon Thadar Han, Thanzin Phyo Paing, Shoon Lei Shwe Yi, Htoo Thar, Kyaw Zeya, San San Win, Than Than Soe, Su Yadana Htaik, Pwint Tharaphy Kyaw, and many other artistes.
