Over the past month, we managed to export and sell up to 76,000 viss. This is a significant increase compared to previous months.
From Bogale Township, most of the fishery products— including climbing perch— are mainly exported to the Yangon market. Demand is good, and prices remain stable. Other fishery products are also being exported. But climbing perch is the one we exported the most,” said Daw Kay Khaing.
Bogale Township produces two main types of climbing perch: wild-caught and farmed. These fish are primarily exported to the Yangon market.
