  • Village Tract Administrator Shot Dead by So-Called PDF Terrorists in Nyaunglebin Township of Bago Region
     In some townships across States and Regions, terrorists motivated by a radical ideology that views “anyone with differing views is an enemy” are conducting violent assaults and assassinations. Their targets are administrative officials who do not support their terrorist acts. Using firearms and knives, these terrorists are committing brutal assassinations after accusing them of “spies, informants or decoys”. This strategy is intended to instill fear among peaceable civilians and create a pervasive sense of dread within these communities.
     Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 19 December 2025 at 5:50 PM, while U Naing Win (54 years old), the village tract administrator and a resident of Than Tadar Village in Nyaunglebin Township of Bago Region, were returning home on his motorcycle from his plantation field near the village, two so-called PDF terrorists arriving by motorcycle and opened fire on him on the village’s main road. As a result, U Naing Win died on the spot, it is reported.
     Security personnel are persistently taking necessary measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for the aforementioned case, it is reported.

05 April 2026     Terrorists are ruthlessly carrying out abductions, killings and armed attacks, using both heavy and small weapons, improvised rocket attacks on wards and villages, as well as conducting drone strikes, all with the intent to harm civilians and instill fear among the public.     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 3 April 2026 at 7:30 AM, a report stated that a child with shrapnel injuries was admitted to Mandalay Public Hospital in Chanayetharzan Township of Mandalay Region. When security personnel arrived at the hospital for further investigation, the victim was identified as Mg Khant Bone Naing (13 years old), a resident of Kyauk Hta Yan Village in Htigyaing Township of Sagaing Region. According to the investigation, on 2 April 2026 at 10:00 AM, while the victim was at his house, a heavy weapon shell fired by so-called PDF terrorists exploded nearby resulting in his injuries, it is reported.     Similarly, on 3 April 2026 at 11:00 AM, so-called PDF terrorists conducted an attack using three fixed wing drones by dropping bombs on No. 2 Ward in Myingyan Township of Mandalay Region. The bombs exploded within the ward. As a result, U Zaw Min (50 years old), a driver from the Myingyan Township Development Committee Office, and Mg Myint Myat Aung (four years old), both residents of the ward, sustained shrapnel injuries and were transported to Myingyan District Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.       According to the above-mentioned cases, local residents are condemning and protesting against the indiscriminate firing of heavy weapons, small arms, improvised rockets and drone attacks by dropping bombs on wards and villages. In response, security personnel, in collaboration with local residents, are intensifying security measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for the incidents, it is reported.MOHA

05 April 2026     In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, government offices and houses.       Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 3 April 2026 at 9:00 AM, while U Naung Naung Hein (43 years old), a resident of Hein Dar Village in Dawei Township of Tanintharyi Region, was working at a poultry farm about 750 feet west of his house, he stepped on an improvised explosive device planted by so-called PDF terrorists near the farm. As a result, U Naung Naung Hein sustained shrapnel injuries and was transported to Dawei Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.       It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law.MOHA
