The Union Election Commission of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar issued announcement 34/2026 on 9 February on the number of secured votes obtained by political parties in the 2025 multiparty democratic general election.
The Union Election Commission conducted the multiparty democratic general election in phases starting from 28 December 2025. These elections were held in 263 constituencies for the Pyithu Hluttaw, 99 constituencies for the Amyotha Hluttaw, 297 constituencies for regional or state Hluttaws, and 29 constituencies for ethnic groups. The Commission has announced the elected representatives for each Hluttaw, the votes and percentages obtained by each individual candidate, and the number of seats won by each political party.
Moreover, the commission announced the constituencies contested by political parties, the number of candidates competing, the number of secured votes, the percentage of secured votes, and the number of winning Hluttaw representatives. — GNLM
