The third day of the First Regular Session of the Third Pyidaungsu Hluttaw was held on April 6 at 10:00 AM at the Pyidaungsu Hluttaw meeting hall in Nay Pyi Taw.

During the session, the President-elect submitted proposals to the Hluttaw regarding the Supreme Court of the Union, the Union Election Commission, the 31 Union Government Ministries and 30 Union Ministers, the Constitutional Tribunal of the Union, the Union Attorney General, and the Union Auditor General.

According to the agenda, the Speaker of the Pyidaungsu Hluttaw announced the Pyidaungsu Hluttaw's approval of the 15-member list for the Hluttaw Representatives Scrutiny Committee. This includes Dr. Kyaw Kyaw Htay from Dawei constituency as Chairman, and U Aung Tin Myint from Ayeyawady Region Proportional Representation System Constituency No. 1 as Secretary.

Subsequently, the proposals submitted by the President-elect, including to designate the number of Supreme Court Justices as 9, and to appoint U Thar Htay as the Chief Justice of the Union, the 15-member list of the Union Election Commission, including U Than Soe as Chairman, to designate the number of Union Government Ministries as 31, and the number of Union Ministers as 30, the 9-member list of the Constitutional Tribunal of the Union, including U Aung Zaw Thein as Chairman, to appoint Dr. Thida Oo as the Union Attorney General, to appoint Daw Naing Thet Oo as the Union Auditor General, were presented to the parliament.

Afterward, the Speaker announced that any member of the Pyihtaungsu Hluttaw wishing to object to the proposals submitted by the President-elect, may submit their name. Today's meeting was adjourned at 10:54 AM. It was announced that the fourth day of the First Regular Session of the Third Union Parliament will continue on April 7 at 10:00 AM.
