The  Training completion ceremony for the People's Military Service Training Batch No. 21 was held in the morning of April 6 at the local training school in the Gyo Phyu area of Taikkyi Township, Yangon Region.

The event was attended by Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein, members of the region government, the Commandant of the local training school Brigadier General Myo Min Than, senior military officers, departmental officials, and administrative instructors.

Initially, the trainee companies saluted the Commandant, followed by a salute to the State Flag, after which the trainees took their oaths of allegiance. Subsequently, the Commandant presented awards to the winners of the Model Soldier Award, Outstanding Parade Award, Sharpshooter Award, Military Code of Conduct Award, Mine Expertise Award, First Prize in Squad Tactics, First Prize in Assault, and Best Dormitory Award.

The Commandant then delivered the graduation speech. Following this, Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein met with the trainees to deliver a speech, warmly greeted the graduating companies, and presented cash rewards of honor. During the training, 255 trainees were instructed in various subjects, including: Physical Fitness, Military Parade/Drillsl, Small Arms, Military Tactics, Combat Engineering, Battlefield Administration, and General Subjects, it’s reported.
