Intense snowfall has once again taken hold of Artvin, Turkiye draping the city’s higher elevations in a pristine white blanket. The recent flurry has transformed the landscape into a series of postcard-perfect scenes, particularly across Mount Genya and the famed Kafkasör Plateau.

Located approximately 10 kilometers from the city center at an altitude of 1,200 meters, the Kafkasör Plateau saw its dense forests of pine, spruce, and fir trees completely covered in snow. The contrast between the dark evergreens and the fresh powder has created a breathtaking visual spectacle that draws locals and nature enthusiasts alike.
