Around 300 Palestinian brides and grooms celebrated a mass wedding ceremony in central Gaza Strip's city of Deir el-Balah.

The initiative was the second round of a mass wedding called 'The Dress of Joy 2' organised by the United Arab Emirates. "The joy in their hearts is indescribable," said a Gazan bride. The Gaza war was triggered by the Hamas-led attack on southern Israel on 7 October 2023, when about 1,200 people were killed and 251 others were taken hostage.

According to the guidance of the President, the Ministry of Transport and Myanmar National Airlines (MNA) have launched flights to remote towns to improve travel access.MNA runs the flights operations from Yangon to Manaung and Kyaukphyu of Rakhine State via L-410 plane as well as based on Myeik airport to Dawei, Boakpyin, and Kawthaung starting the morning of 24th April.On the 26th, MNA transported 14 passengers from Myeik to Dawei via L-410 flight and arrived at Dawei on 8:45 am. At the Dawei Airport, they were welcomed by the Chief Minister and officials marking the New route operation. The flight also transported 16 passengers from Dawei to Myeik.mitv

Union Minister for Construction U Myo Thant, accompanied by Chief Minister of Mandalay Region U Myo Aung and officials, inspected ongoing repair and reconstruction works along the Yangon–Mandalay Highway on Sunday.At the site between Mileposts 366/3 to 361/3, concrete roads damaged by the Mandalay earthquake have been repaired and asphalted. At Milepost 360/0, they reviewed the Myit Sut Creek Bridge, which was damaged by the earthquake. Temporary measures, including a Bailey bridge and reinforced concrete work, have been put in place to allow traffic flow while full reconstruction continues.At Milepost 358/1, the Union Minister and party inspected the new reconstruction site of the 1,000 ft long Doattawady Bridge. Engineers reported on the implementation of soil improvement, earthquake-resistant materials, and geophysical surveys to strengthen the bridge against future earthquakes.The Union Minister emphasized the urgency of completing the bridge to ensure smooth travel from the TadaU International Airport to Mandalay. They also inspected the ongoing construction of the Yuzana Bridge, a 220 ft, two-lane bridge which started in April 2025 and expected to be completed by July 2026. They later inspected road maintenance and repairs along the old Yangon–Mandalay Highway, ensuring safe and smooth travel for the public.mitv

Myanmar delegation led by Union Minister for Labour U Khin Maung Soe attended the High-level ASEAN roundtable discussion on - “Cross-border Labour,” held in Metro Manila of the Philippines on  24th April.The discussion aimed to promote safe labour migration and rights for migrant workers, to reduce risk along migrant routes and to clarify the development opportunities through rules and regulations. It was attended by Ministers and high-level delegations from ASEAN member states, Secretariat office and IMO.The discussion focused on 3 sectors including partnership, labour migration and protection, and crisis, climate change and health. The Union Minister stated that it is necessary to closely cooperate among ASEAN member states in cross-border labour to reduce the gap in implementing  migration management, technology and experience.During the meeting, the Union Minister frankly discussed with AMS labour Ministers and presented the record-books of tasks completion advised by ILO. He also met with the delegations of Thailand and Laos  seperately, and exchanged views on ongoing labours issues. mitv
