Four members of the KIA and KPDF voluntarily returned to the legal framework with their weapons. The government welcomed them, received their weapons and explosives, and provided cash assistance totaling 20.9 million kyats.

The return ceremony was held at a military headquarters in the northern region, attended by officials, the returnees, and their families. The returnees expressed their trust in the state’s peace efforts and willingness to live peacefully under the law. Authorities emphasized that those who leave armed groups and rejoin the legal framework will continue to receive assistance and rewards for surrendered weapons.
