The second day of the 70th Anniversary Celebration of the Sixth Buddhist Council and academic paper presentation continued at Maha Pasana Cave in Kaba Aye Hill of Yangon on Friday.

The ceremony was attended by Sayadaws and members of the Sangha led by the State Sangha Maha Nayaka Committee Chairman Sayadaw, Union Minister for Religious Affairs U Tin Oo Lwin, officials, and invited guests. The program included question and answer session on Tipitaka, and academic paper presentations by eminent Sayadaws on Buddhist history, teachings, and education.

In the afternoon, international Buddhist scholars and professors from Mandalay State Pariyati Sasana University read out their papers and engaged in discussions. The event concluded with Union Minister and officials presenting commemorative gifts and Buddhist books to attending Sayadaws and scholars.
