  • MoRA Union Minister inspects distribution of prefabricated houses

Union Minister for Religious Affairs U Tin Oo Lwin, along with relevant officials, inspected the arrival of a freight train carrying containerized prefabricated houses donated by the People’s Republic of China for earthquake-affected monasteries and nunneries in the Nay Pyi Taw Council Area at 4 pm on 9 May at Ywataw railway station. They also inspected the loading of the prefabricated houses onto vehicles for further transportation.
A total of 192 prefabricated houses that arrived at Ywataw Station in Nay Pyi Taw are being distributed and donated to 121 earthquake-affected monasteries and one nunnery across the eight townships of the Nay Pyi Taw Council Area.
The Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Religious Affairs, the relevant regional governments, and other relevant departments are cooperating to deliver and donate the prefabricated houses to Mandalay Region and Sagaing Region. — MNA/TH

“A Medical Superintendent from a township in Yangon Region, offered to participate in the reconstruction of Falam Township, such contributions is recognized by the State Government, reconstruction activities must commence immediately, guided by a spirit of compassion for the affected people, the state government welcomed individuals and organizations willing to cooperate in long-term reconstruction and development projects in other required wards and villages” expressed by the Chin State Chief Minister Dr. Wong Sun Htan at a coordination meeting for the reconstruction and development of Falam Township.It was reported that the meeting was held on May 11 at the meeting hall of the Chin State government office in Hakha.At the meeting, Chin State Hluttaw Speaker, noted that on May 7, a meeting was held with residents displaced from Falam Township due to conflict. During that meeting, the state government coordinated with relevant departments to address the urgent needs of the people and arranged measures to enable approximately 4,300 displaced residents to return to Falam Township in organized groups.Following this, participants at the meeting discussed the reconstruction and rehabilitation of Falam Township. State ministers, attending religious leaders, and Township responsible officials provided additional recommendations and suggestions.Afterwards, the State Chief Minister presented 20 million kyats for the reconstruction and rehabilitation of Falam Township and 10 million kyats for security personnel, concluded the meeting with closing remarks, it’s reported.mitv

Turkmen Leader Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov inspected the reconstruction of the Akhal-Teke Equestrian Complex of the President of Turkmenistan in the Kopetdag foothills.Technologies used for the first time in the region are being implemented to care for the “winged horses.” The large-scale modernization of the complex begins right from the access road. The track is being laid using a technology new to the region.The track consists of ten layers, and a smart drainage system effectively drains any precipitation. Electricity and Energy: MOEE Union Minister inspects work undertakings
Union Minister for Electricity and Energy U Ko Ko Lwin, along with officials, visited Ye Ywa Hydropower Plant in Kyaukse Township, Mandalay on 9th May.At the briefing hall, officials reported on the surveillance on the dam, maintenance works, surveying to install Hydraulic Elevated Dam (HED) in spillway and new hydropower projects along Myitnge basin including upper Ye Ywa project. Upon the reports, the Union Minister stressed for systematic process of design, estimation and modeling test for HED and emergence of hydropower projects in Myitnge basin areas.The Union Minister later inspected the facility and strength of the dam. At the 500-KV Main Sub-Station Project in Maikhtila Township, officials reported on the progress of installation of sub-stations and power cable lines, distribution of electricity to lower Myanmar and challanges.The Union Minister stated that since 500-KV Power line system is of paramount important for distribution of electricity to lower Myanmar, it is necessary to complete promptly in line with the set standard, with constant maintenance.  Later, they inspected the project site and fulfilled the requirements presented by staff.mitv
