An experience-sharing session by youth delegates from the Rakhine Literature and Culture Association (Yangon) who had participated in the "BIMSTEC Youth Leadership Exchange Programme" conducted in April in Bangalore and Bhubaneswar, India, was held at the meeting hall of the Ministry of Ethnic Affairs on May 11th.

First, Union Minister for Ethnic Affairs U Than Maung delivered the opening speech. He stated that organizing such a tradition of sharing experiences upon returning from overseas trips can contribute to improving the efficiency of the staff. He urged the participants of the youth leadership exchange programme not only to share the experiences and knowledge they had gained but also to further enhance their roles in interacting with international youth through their own insights, critical thinking, creativity, and collaborative abilities.

Afterwards, youth delegates from the Rakhine Literature and Culture Association (Yangon), U Ye Htet Paing and Daw Mi Ko Khant who had attended the ten-day BIMSTEC Youth Leadership Exchange Programme in India during April 2026, presented their experiences and knowledge using PowerPoint presentations, video clips, and documentary photos.

Following this, there was a question-and-answer session with the attendees. The Union Minister then delivered the closing speech, bringing the ceremony to an end, it’s reported.
