The Republic of the Union of Myanmar issued a Pyidaungsu Hluttaw Draft Law on Countering Online Scam is released on Wednesday, May 13th, 2026.

The draft law consists of 13 chapters and 63 sections. It was signed by President U Min Aung Hlaing in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution. The full text of the draft law will be published on daily newspers, MRTV Website, MRTV App and MRTV Social Media on May 14th.

On Saturday, shots were fired near the White House in Washington, D.C., triggering a major security response from the U.S. Secret Service and FBI. Two Innocent Civilians Injured in Attack by So-Called PDF Terrorists in Muse Township of Shan State
24 May 2026    The terrorist groups, the Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH) and the National Unity Government (NUG), with the aim of nationwide destruction, have formed the terrorist groups known as the so-called PDF. Under various pretexts, in some regions, they have been arresting, torturing and killing innocent local residents, as well as engaging in armed clashes and carrying out attacks in wards and villages.    Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 21 May 2026 at 11:45 PM, while U Ar Chwen (32 years old), a resident of Ho Mon Ward in Muse Township of Shan State, was at his house together with U Ar Suu (32 years old), a terrorist arrived and opened fire, before fleeing the scene. As a result, both men sustained gunshot wounds and were transported to Muse District Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.    According to the above mentioned cases, local residents are condemning and protesting against the indiscriminate shootings and killings of innocent civilians by armed terrorists, who intended to spread fear among the public. In response, security personnel, in collaboration with local residents, are intensifying security measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for the incidents, it is reported.MOHA
