Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced on Tuesday that the Israeli military are deepening and intensifying operations in Lebanon by deploying large ground forces and seizing strategic areas.

He also stressed that the military is pushing beyond its initial demarcation lines to reinforce and expand the security buffer zone in southern Lebanon to protect northern communities. Despite a ceasefire that took effect in April, conflicts in southern Lebanon has surged, with Israel scaling up its airstrikes and ground offensive.

The Tatmadaw, in order to ensure peace and stability for the public and promote socio-economic development, has been carrying out counter-terrorism operations in certain townships, villages, and areas that had been temporarily controlled by terrorist insurgents.As a result, the Tatmadaw has fully regained control of the Falam, Tedim, and Tonzang areas in Chin State. In accordance with the guidance of the Head of State, responsible officials are now cooperating with local residents to implement rehabilitation and reconstruction activities across various sectors.As part of these efforts, construction materials needed for reconstruction work, including cement, roofing sheets, and nails, were transported from Mandalay. In addition, consumer goods, kitchen supplies, and healthcare items intended for local residents returning to their hometowns were transported from Nay Pyi Taw by military aircraft on May 25, arriving in Kalay Township.The reconstruction materials and relief supplies that had arrived in Kalay including cement, roofing sheets, iron materials, and consumer goods provided by the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement were further transported by motor vehicles from Kalay to Falam Tuesday morning and arrived there in the evening.Relevant officials received the goods delivered by the vehicles and will continue distributing them directly to local residents. The supplies will continue to be transported to the remaining towns yet to receive them, and that the government will continuously work to meet the needs of the region according to local requirements, it’s reported.mitv

Opening ceremonies for People’s Military Service Training Course No. (25), aimed at enabling citizens to serve national defense and security duties, were held in the morning on May 25th, at various training schools located within the respective regional military command areas.During the ceremonies, the commandants of the respective training schools delivered opening remarks.The ceremonies were attended by the Chairman of the Nay Pyi Taw Council, region and state chief ministers, Commanders of regional commands, and other responsible officials. They met with the trainees of People’s Military Service Training Course No. (25), presented honorary cash awards, food items, and personal supplies for the trainees, and warmly greeted and encouraged them.Since every citizen has the responsibility to safeguard the Three Main National Causes — non-disintegration of the Union, non-disintegration of national solidarity, and perpetuation of sovereignty — the People’s Military Service Law was enforced on February 10, 2024, with the aim of providing military training and enabling citizens to fulfill national defense duties.
