The graduation parade of the 129th Intake (Thiha Company) of the Army Officer Training School (Ba Htoo) was held at the parade ground of the Army Officer Training School (Ba Htoo) in Ba Htoo in the morning of February 25th.

The parade was attended by the Vice-Chairman of the State Security and Peace Commission, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services, Commander-in-Chief (Army), Vice-Senior General, Thiri Pyannchi Maha Thray Sithu, Soe Win who delivered the graduation address on behalf of the Chairman of the State Security and Peace Commission, Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services, Senior General Thadoe Maha Thray Sithu Thadoe Thiri Thudhamma Min Aung Hlaing.

At the graduation parade, the Vice-Senior General accepted the salute of the cadet companies and inspected the cadet companies. He then received the slow march and fast march salutes from the graduating cadet companies. Subsequently, the Vice-Senior General presented the Sword of Honour to Cadet No. 39, Cadet Ye Htut Aung, the best cadet from the 129th Intake.

Afterwards, the Vice-Senior General delivered the graduation address. He elaborated extensively on the points such as the Tatmadaw's evolution from the Burma Independence Army (BIA) through successive transformations into the Burma Defence Army (BDA), Burma National Army (BNA), Patriotic Burmese Forces (PBF), and Burma Army, leading the people in achieving and safeguarding Myanmar's independence; the Tatmadaw's role, alongside the people, in addressing internal armed conflicts that emerged from factionalism based on ideological differences fueled by colonial divide-and-rule policies and instigations following independence; the requirement for those who will soon assume junior leadership positions in various battalions/units to provide correct leadership and guidance to their subordinates while developing the three capabilities; the successful conduct of free and fair multi-party democracy general elections in three phases starting from December 28, 2025; and the State Security and Peace Commission's plan to transfer state responsibilities to the elected government that will emerge from the people's free and fair electoral choice, in accordance with democratic norms etc.

Following this, the Vice-Senior General accepted the salute of the cadet companies and departed from the parade ceremony. After the graduation parade ceremony, the Vice-Senior General, accompanied by senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief and the Commander of East Command, met with the award-winning cadets at Yeiktha Hall and delivered words of honor.
