  • Head of Zelenskyy's office: Russia accepts US security guarantees for Ukraine

A senior Ukrainian official reportedly said Russia had agreed to accept US security guarantees for Ukraine in negotiations over a peace plan.

Media outlets in Ukraine on Saturday quoted the Head of the President's Office, Kyrylo Budanov. Media reports said Budanov noted that Moscow had accepted the US-proposed security guarantees to be provided for Ukraine after a ceasefire in talks involving high-ranking officials from Ukraine, Russia and the United States. Ukrainian President Zelenskyy has said that the trilateral high-level talks will resume in early March.
