Twenty-four finalists for the Mister Myanmar 2026 competition were unveiled at a sash presentation and media introduction ceremony held at the Wyndham Grand Yangon Hotel in Mingala Taungnyunt Township, Yangon Region, on 4 March.
At the ceremony, Dr Ye Htun Thu, founder of the Burmese Face Entertainment, delivered the opening address. Mister Myanmar 2025 winner Zeya Htet Aung also offered words of encouragement to the contestants.
The organizers introduced the 24 contestants selected by city directors from different states and regions across Myanmar. During the event, the contestants walked the catwalk and received sashes representing their respective regions.
According to the organizer, the winner of Mister Myanmar 2026 will receive a ruby crown weighing a total of 40 carats, with an estimated value of more than K300 million at the current market price.
“We will select the crown winner based on the contestants’ genuine abilities throughout the competition. The crown will never be sold. From the 24 finalists, three winners will be selected, and they will have the opportunity to compete in international pageants,” said Dr Ye Htun Thu.
At the ceremony, the 24 finalists also performed catwalk presentations, and the Media Choice Award and Best Dressed Award were presented.
The three winners selected from the Mister Myanmar 2026 final will represent Myanmar in the international competitions, Mister International, Man of the World, and Mister Friendship International. — ASH/KZL
