  • Deadline for individual applicant profile updates for 2026 JLPT set for 21 March

The JLPT Organizing Committee of the Myanmar Association of Japan Alumni (MAJA) has announced that individual applicants for the 2026 Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) may update their user information from 14 March until 4:00 pm on 21 March.

Once an application is confirmed, applicants can click the “User Information” button to make edits. However, MAJA strictly notes that updates resulting in a change of identity will not be accepted. The update process is divided into two parts: Part 1: updating personal identity information such as the profile photo, full name, ID number, gender, date of birth, and signature. The system does not allow more than three changes. Select the checkbox next to the specific field you wish to change on the left side of the screen. After entering the new details, click the “Request” button. If the request is not approved within three days, applicants are advised to contact MAJA directly.

In Part 2, applicants can manually update their own contact details, including email address, physical address, and phone number. After editing the fields, click the “Preview” button. If the information is correct, click “Save”. MAJA urges all applicants to log in and double-check their updated information for accuracy. For further inquiries, they can contact the JLPT Organizing Committee (MAJA) at: 01-7571015 (Ext-1). – MT/ZN
