Visiting Schools in Nay Pyi Taw: MOE UM visited schools opening in Nay Pyi Taw
Union Minister for Education, Dr. Chaw Chaw Sein, accompanied by relevant officials, conducted an inspection tour Monday morning in Nay Pyi Taw to oversee the opening of basic education schools for the 2026-2027 academic year and to encourage students pursuing their education peacefully.
The Union Minister visited No. (6), No. (7), No. (11), and No. (8) Basic Education High Schools in Zabuthiri Township. During the visit, she warmly greeted students studying happily in their classrooms. She delivered words of encouragement, urging them to strive for excellence not only in academic subjects but also in sports and physical education. Similarly, Deputy Minister Dr. Zaw Myint visited No. (1) Basic Education High School, Zayathiri Township, No. (3) Basic Education High School, Pobbathiri Township, No. (12) Basic Education High School, Ottarathiri Township.
Meanwhile, Deputy Minister U Nay Myo Hlaing visited: No. (3), No. (5), and No. (2) Basic Education High Schools in Pyinmana Township. The Deputy Ministers inspected the peaceful learning environment and surveyed designated land plots for the construction of new school buildings, ensuring that all necessary needs were fulfilled. All basic education schools across various Regions and States have officially opened starting June 1st. Students nationwide are now attending their classes and pursuing their education peacefully, it’s reported.
