In Hong Kong, the two-day-long ComplexCon kicked off on Sunday at the AsiaWorld-Expo, attracting hundreds of residents and tourists to the annual creative and cultural gala. In the event, an ensemble of more than 150 booths showcased the latest streetwear, music and the arts including the giant Labubu doll as one of this year’s top attraction.

Attendees can browse the official ComplexCon Gift Shop, which will carry exclusive items and find international bites and refreshments from local brands. ComplexCon also host exclusive events and panel discussions featuring thought leaders, creations, and prominent individuals at its conversation sessions.

Japanese technology and telecom giant SoftBank Group said it would build a major new data center in Ohio. The project is aimed at taking advantage of soaring demand for artificial intelligence tools in the United States amid intensifying competition.The group said the total investment will be 500 billion dollars. Construction is scheduled to start this year. The data center will be powered by a natural gas-fired power plant to be built on the premises. Chinese tech company Xiaomi will invest at least $8.7 million in artificial intelligence over the next three years, its founder said on Friday. Xiaomi had rapidly expanded since its launch in 2011 to produce electric vehicles, tablets and home appliances, and was currently eyeing the AI market.The company unveiled three new AI models earlier in the day, two of which had previously been tested anonymously on a third-party developer platform. US federal jury in California found on Friday that Elon Musk misled Twitter shareholders in an effort to drive down the company's share price as he was poised to buy it in a $44 billion deal. Jurors agreed with the plaintiff that Musk violated a securities rule that bars false and misleading statements that artificially drive down a stock price.The civil complaint also accused Musk of driving down Twitter's stock price to get out of the deal completely, causing people who sold shares to lose money. Musk dropped his attempt to exit the deal in late 2022 after Twitter pursued legal action to enforce the agreement. Investors from China, Indonesia, Japan and the Republic of Korea showed growing interest in the Myanmar coffee production sector, and they are closely observing the investment policies of the Myanmar Coffee Association.“China, Indonesia, Japan and South Korea are eyeing Myanmar’s coffee production sector for investment due to its significant potential. Myanmar has favourable conditions for coffee production with abundant land resources suitable both for highland and lowland coffee cultivation, and leveraging processing technology to produce premium coffee. Therefore, businesses from China, Indonesia, Japan and South Korea are keen on investing in the sector and studying investment policies,” said an official of the association.Myanmar Coffee Association is also a member of the ASEAN Coffee Federation, bringing significant benefits to the sector.Domestic entrepreneurs and local farmers are the primary producers of Myanmar’s raw coffee bean, with an annual production estimated at around 10,000 tonnes of highland and lowland coffee. Myanmar exports approximately 50 per cent of its coffee production, primarily to China and Thailand. Deputy Minister for Agriculture, Livestock, and Irrigation U Bo Bo Kyaw inspected irrigation conditions for summer paddy and other crops in the Chaungmange and Madan Dam irrigation systems on March 19.The inspection covered the lower reaches of the canals, checking water storage, distribution, and readiness for the 2025–2026 planting season.The Deputy Minister emphasized ensuring sufficient and efficient water supply, maintaining canals, using water wisely, and promoting high-yield, short-duration, and quality seeds. He also urged farmers to use fertilizers and pesticides properly to protect soil fertility. Currently, in Chaungmange Dam irrigation, water has been supplied since March 1 for 5,000 acres of summer paddy and 1,000 acres of other crops. In Madan Dam irrigation, water has been provided since February 5 for 2,115 acres of summer paddy and 161 acres of other crops, ensuring timely planting.mitv
