Seven individuals including six men and one woman, who are members of the PDF and came to understand the State and Tatmadaw's peace processes, entered the legal fold with their weapons and ammunition.

A ceremony to welcome them and transfer them back to their parents or guardians was held in the afternoon of March 31 at the Taing Yan Aung Hall of the Coastal Command. The seven individuals who thus returned to the legal fold consisted of two from Dawei Township, two from Taninthayi Township, one from Bokepyin Township of Taninthayi Region, one from Hinthada Township, and one from Ingapu Township of Ayeyawady Region.

The ceremony was attended by the Commander of Coastal Command, Major General Kyaw Kyaw Han, along with military officials, relevant departmental officials, those who had entered the legal fold, and their parents or guardians. First, the Commander gave an orientation address to those who had entered the legal fold.

Subsequently, those who had returned to the legal fold handed over the items they had brought with them including one HK-33 rifle, one M-16 rifle, five magazines, 188 rounds of 5.56mm ammunition, one MG-1 hand grenade, and one bulletproof vest.

The Commander accepted these items. Following that, the Commander presented rewards 5 million kyats per weapon for the two firearms, totaling 10 million kyats, 3 lakh kyats for the hand grenade, and 1 million kyats each for the five individuals who entered without weapons, totaling 5 million kyats. The combined cash reward amounted to 15.3 million kyats, along with supplies.

Afterwards, those who returned to the legal fold signed commitment letters and were transferred back to their parents or guardians. On behalf of those who had returned, one of them expressed gratitude. Thus, those who returned to the legal fold were welcomed, provided with necessary support, and systematically transferred back to their parents or guardians.

It is reported that there remain individuals who wish to return to the legal fold. Those who wish to return are encouraged to quickly contact and inform the nearest district or township administrative bodies, military camps, or police stations. They will be welcomed, provided with necessary assistance, and will receive cash reward for any weapons and ammunition surrendered.

Starting from February 17, 2026, KNLA and so-called PDF terrorist insurgents used drones and superior forces to launch a surprise attack on security personnel guarding the Win Wa Bridge, a key strategic point on the Dawei-Myeik highway in Thayetchaung Township, Taninthayi Region.The insurgents temporarily took control of the bridge and its surrounding areas, cutting off and blocking the transportation route. 31 March 2026     Terrorists are ruthlessly carrying out abductions, killings and armed attacks, using heavy weapons, small arms, improvised rockets and drone strikes with drop bombs on wards and villages, all with the intent to harm civilians living peacefully and instill fear among the public.     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 29 March 2026 at 2:20 PM, a report stated that a woman with shrapnel injuries from a bomb explosion had arrived at the Dawei Township Public Hospital in Tanintharyi Region. When security personnel arrived at the hospital for further investigation and to verify the incident, it was found that at 7:30 AM, Daw Khin Ma Cho (45 years old), a resident of Sonsin Village in Thayetchaung Township, was at her home when a heavy weapon shell, fired by a so-called PDF terrorists with the intention of harming the public, landed and exploded inside her house yard, injuring her.     It is reported that local residents are completely unable to accept and are condemning and protesting against such reckless attacks using heavy weapons, small arms, improvised rockets and drop bombs on wards and villages where innocent civilians are living peacefully. 31 March 2026     In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, government offices and houses.     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 27 March 2026 at 2:50 PM, a report state that a man with shrapnel injuries was admitted to Loikaw District Public Hospital in Kayah State. When security personnel arrived at the hospital to conduct further investigation, the victim was identified as U Maung Htway (54 years old), a resident of Hmon Pyar Village in Loikaw Township. According to the investigation, at 12:00 PM, while the victim was cutting firewood in a forest about two miles north of the village, he stepped on an improvised explosive device planted by so-called PDF terrorists, resulting in his injuries, it is reported.      Similarly, at 11:25 AM, on the same day, a report state that a man with shrapnel injuries was admitted to Pwintphyu Township Public Hospital in Magway Region. When security personnel arrived at the hospital to conduct further investigation, the victim was identified as U Aung Win (53 years old), a resident of Ka Ni Village in Pwintphyu Township. According to the investigation, at 6:00 AM, while the victim was cutting firewood in a forest about six miles north of the village, he stepped on an improvised explosive device planted by so-called PDF terrorists, resulting in his injuries, it is reported     Similarly, on 29 March 2026 at 12:30 PM, a report stated that a monk and a man with shrapnel injuries from a mine explosion had arrived at the Myingyan District Public Hospital in Mandalay Region. When security personnel arrived at the hospital to investigate the incident, it was found that at 10:00 AM, Sayadaw U Silananda (35 years old), (15 vassa), from the “Sasana Pala” Monastery in Ward No. (13), Myingyan Township, along with U Myo Min Bo (41 years old), also from Ward No. (13), were travelling by car from Myingyan City to Mandalay. When they reached between Sakkaing Village and Nyaung Wun Village, a mine planted by so-called PDF terrorists on the roadside exploded, injuring both of them.     Similarly, at 11:15 AM, a report state that a woman with shrapnel injuries was admitted to Naungcho Township Public Hospital in Shan State. When security personnel arrived at the hospital to conduct further investigation, the victim was identified as Daw Yin Pyone (40 years old), a resident of Naung Lin Village in Naungcho Township. According to the investigation, while the victim was walking in her yard, she stepped on an improvised explosive device planted by the TNLA terrorist group, resulting in her injuries, it is reported.     Similarly, at 6:15 PM, on the same day, Daw Thida Hmway (39 years old), a resident of Mat Hlwut Village in Naungcho Township, was walking on a road west of her house, she stepped on an improvised explosive device planted by the TNLA terrorist group. As a result, Daw Thida Hmway died on the spot, it is reported.     Similarly, at 6:55 PM, a report stated that a deceased man and an injured woman with shrapnel injuries from a mine explosion had arrived at the Nawnghkio Township Public Hospital in Shan State. When security personnel arrived at the hospital to investigate the incident, it was found that at 5:30 PM, U Win Myint (58 years old) and Daw Kin (77 years old), residents of Yapyin Village, Nawnghkio Township, were cleaning trash inside their yard south of their house. They stepped on a mine planted by a TNLA terrorist group, causing it to explode. As a result, U Win Myint sustained fatal injuries and died, while Daw Kin was injured.     It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incidents to take effective action in accordance with the law.MOHA
