Chile's President Jose Antonio Kast arrived on Monday to meet with his Argentine counterpart Javier Milei at the presidential palace in Buenos Aires, marking his first trip abroad since taking office in March. Kast described their talks, which focused on cooperation on tourism, trade, investment and mining, as "a historic moment of integration."

Milei shared an X post from his libertarian party, La Libertad Avanza, which said the visit was proof that "the right is advancing in Latin America!!!"
