Mandalay Region Chief Minister U Myo Aung and officials accompanied and escorted the Presiding Nayaka Sayadaw of Maha Wizitayon Pariyatti Monastery, in Chan Aye Thazan Township of Mandalay, State Ovadacariya Abhidhaja Maha Rattha Guru Abhidhaja Agga Maha Saddhamma Jotika Bhaddanta Vicarindabhivamsa , on April 22 to a private rest residence in Pyin Oo Lwin, where the Venerable Sayadawgyi will temporarily reside.

At the private rest residence, the Commandant and senior specialists from the Pyin Oo Lwin Tatmadaw Hospital (1/700), along with the Station Commander and other officials, paid homage to the Sayadawgyi and offered alms and nutritional supplements. They received religious guidance from the Sayadawgyi to ensure the provision of necessary healthcare services. The Venerable Sayadawgyi is currently residing at the rest house in good health.

Following this, the Chief Minister and party, accompanied by relevant officials, conducted a field inspection of regional development projects in Pyin Oo Lwin. The Chief Minister instructed officials to begin implementation of the planned projects as soon as possible and coordinated the fulfillment of necessary requirements, it’s reported.
