  • Iran's FM meets with Pakistan military chief in Islamabad

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi met Pakistan’s army chief Field Marshal Asim Munir in Islamabad on Saturday, amid efforts to revive stalled peace talks between the US and Iran to end their eight-week war, the talks focused on possible second round of U.S.–Iran negotiations and  regional security and diplomatic efforts. The meeting took place shortly after Araghchi arrived in Pakistan late Friday. It was part of Pakistan’s mediation role between Iran and the United States.
