Conducting Field Inspection: MOST UM conducted field inspection in Taunggyi

Union Minister for Science and Technology, Dr. Myo Thein Kyaw, accompanied by relevant officials, conducted an inspection tour of the Technological University (Taunggyi).

During the visit, the Union Minister performed a field inspection of the campus, reviewing the current building layouts based on the university's master plan scale model. He provided guidance on ensuring that new building expansions are systematically organized according to designated zones, maintaining the aesthetic appeal and inspiring surroundings of the campus and anticipating future infrastructure needs and potential developments for long-term growth.

Following the inspection, the Union Minister met with the Rector, heads of departments, faculty members, and staff. After the Rector presented a report on university matters, the Union Minister provided the necessary instructions. Later, the Union Minister and officials, accompanied by Shan State Chief Minister U Sai Htein Soe and state government officials, visited the Government Technical Institute (Taunggyi).

They inspected the preparation of practical laboratories and workshops. At the Institute’s meeting hall, the Union Minister reviewed reports regarding Institute’s operations and provided necessary guidance and support to fulfill the Institute's requirements.
