Spanish FM visits Dominican Republic to strengthen 'trade ties'
Following his arrival from Puerto Rico as part of South American regional tour, Spanish Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares met with his counterpart Roberto Alvarez on Tuesday. Both foreign ministers hold a high-level working meeting to review preparatory works for the Ibero-American Summit in Madrid, scheduled for 4th and 5th November 2026.
Albares said that both countries maintain long-standing diplomatic relations and a robust cooperation agenda in areas of common interest, framed within a continuous and respectful institutional dialogue. As economic ties remain a priority, he stressed that he will continue to support the country's development and progress.
