The responsibilities assigning ceremony for the 2026-2027 Fiscal Year Local Plan of Yangon Region was held Wednesday afternoon at the Mingalar Hall of the Yangon Region Government Office. During the event, Yangon Region Chief Minister U Aung Naing Thu delivered a speech, urging all departments and organizations to work in harmony and coordination. He emphasized the importance of strictly following the national goals, future work plans, objectives, and policy targets as operational guidelines to achieve success through collective effort.

Following his address, Chief Minister U Aung Naing Thu formally assigned the local plan responsibilities to the members of the Regional Government, directors representing the heads of regional-level departments, Chairmen of the District Administration and Management Committees.

After the ceremony, the Chief Minister cordially greeted the attendees, it’s learnt.

A coordination meeting aimed at supporting the successful implementation of the state’s agricultural policy guidelines through agricultural research was held on the morning of May 5 at the Navarat Hall of the Department of Agricultural Research in Yezin, Nay Pyi Taw. During the meeting, Deputy Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation, Dr. Ye Tint Tun, addressed the participants, stating that it is essential for the research processes carried out by the Department of Agricultural Research to be aligned with the national agricultural policy guidelines. He further emphasized the need for a balance between Academic Research in collaboration with universities and Applied Research that farmers can utilize directly.
