A group of 132 Luyechun outstanding youths are currently camping at Inle Khaung Daing Camp.

On Saturday, accompanied by teachers and camp supervisors, they visited various scenic and cultural sites around Inle Lake. As part of the program’s aim to help youths gain regional knowledge and practical experience through peer learning and shared experiences, the group explored agricultural projects in Kay Lar Village and visited gemstone and traditional weaving businesses in Haeya Ywama Village, where local entrepreneurs explained their craft and operations.

The youths also visited the historic Alo Taw Pauk Pagoda and paid homage at Inle Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda in Thalay Village, offering flowers and water. They also made donations and explored local markets, purchasing traditional foods and souvenirs, further connecting with the region’s culture and heritage. Through these activities, the Luyechun Program provides youths with valuable hands-on learning, strengthens peer-to-peer exchange, and deepens their understanding of the social, cultural, and economic life of local community.
