     The terrorist groups, the Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH) and the National Unity Government (NUG), with the aim of nationwide destruction, have formed the terrorist groups known as the so-called PDF. Under various pretexts, in some regions, they have been arresting, torturing, and killing innocent local residents, as well as engaging in armed clashes and carrying out attacks in wards and villages.
     Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 19 May 2026 at 12:00 PM, U Min Moe Thant (33 years old) and Ko Moe Min Htet (29 years old), both residents of Aung Zaya Ward in Thanbyuzayet Township of Mon State, were travelling by car to Wal Kha Mi Village along the Thanbyuzayet- Ka Roke Pi- Htin Shu- Ah Nin Road. At 12:00 PM, on the same day, while the vehicle reached an area near Kaw Lay Village, so-called PDF terrorists forced it to stop and opened fire on them. As a result, both men died on the spot, it is reported.
    Similarly, on 20 May 2026 at 2:00 AM, while U Htein Oo (34 years old) and U Khan Htet Zaw (50 years old), both residents of Kyauk Nget Village in Ywarngan Township of Shan State, were at their respective houses, a group of 10 so-called PDF terrorists arrived and opened fire on them. As a result, both men died on the spot, it is reported.
     Similarly, at 3:00 AM, on the same day, while U Myint Htay (56 years old) and U Myint Soe Khine (aka) Ka Lar (49 years old), both residents of In Pin Hla Village in Sinbaungwe Township of Magway Region, were at their respective houses, a group of 10 so-called PDF terrorists arriving by five motorcycles and abducted them. The terrorists then took them to an area about one mile south of the village, where they opened fire on them. As a result, both men died on the spot, it is reported.
     According to the above mentioned cases, local residents are condemning and protesting against the indiscriminate shootings and killings of innocent civilians by armed terrorists, who intended to spread fear among the public. In response, security personnel, in collaboration with local residents, are intensifying security measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for the incidents, it is reported.

22 May 2026      Terrorists are ruthlessly carrying out abductions, killings and armed attacks, using both heavy and small weapons, improvised rocket attacks on wards and villages, as well as conducting drone strikes, all with the intent to harm civilians and instill fear among the public.     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 19 May 2026 at 10:20 PM, an improvised rocket exploded within Bandula Ward in Monywa Township of Sagaing Region. As a result, junior novice Shin Pyin Nyar Wun Sa (11 years old) and Mg Thura Aung (17 years old), both resident of the ward, sustained shrapnel injuries. The injured individuals were transported to Monywa Township Public Hospital for medical treatment. However, the novice passed away while receiving medical treatment, it is reported.      According to the above mentioned case, local residents are condemning and protesting against the indiscriminate firing of heavy weapons, small arms, improvised rockets and drone attacks by dropping bombs on wards and villages. 22 May 2026     In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, government offices and houses.     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 19 May 2026 at 11:50 AM, a report stated that the deceased and injured individuals with shrapnel injuries had been brought to Taungoo Township Public Hospital in Bago Region. When security personnel arrived at the hospital to conduct further investigation, the victims were identified as a resident of No. 19 Ward U Khun Htike Aung (aka) Khal Pay (31 years old), residents of No 23 Ward U Saw Sein Min (35 years old), U Saw Yo Aye La (32 years old), Ma Naw Hal Nay Say (30 years old), Ma Naw Ywar Hay Lal Bwal (33 years old), a resident of Mon Kone Village. According to the investigation, the victims were traveling by car from Mon Kone Village to Taungoo Town. While the vehicle reached the area between mileposts 5/6 and 5/7 on the Taungoo-Late Tho Road between 5/6 and 5/7, an improvised explosive device planted by so-called PDF terrorists exploded on the roadside. As a result, U Khun Htike Aung (aka) Khal Pay, while the remaining individuals sustained shrapnel injuries, it is reported.     Similarly, on 20 May 2026 at 1:15 PM, a report stated that a man with shrapnel injuries was admitted to Taning Township Public Hospital in Kachin State. When security personnel arrived at the hospital to conduct further investigation, the victim was identified as U Ga Laung Naw Maing (56 years old), a resident Kin Sar Ward in Taning. According to the investigation, while the victim was on his way to a charcoal production area located between Nam Phyat Yan Village and Tein Kauk Village, he stepped on an improvised explosive device planted near the area by a combined group of KIA insurgents and so-called PDF terrorists, resulting in his injuries, it is reported.       It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law.MOHA

23rd ASEAN Chiefs of Defence Forces Meeting (23rd ACDFM) was hosted via video conferencing system on Thursday. Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services General Ye Win Oo and delegation joined the meeting, together with the delegations from Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Timor-Leste and Viet Nam.The meeting chair, Chief of Philippine Armed Forces gave opening remarks, followed by presentations on the 23rd ASEAN Military Intelligence Meeting (AMIM) and 16th ASEAN Military Operations Meeting (AMOM). The delegation leaders later make discussion on the theme "Securing Our Future, Together". General Ye Win Oo emphasized that ASEAN has been founded on strong principles and shared goals, with member militaries working to promote regional peace, stability, and development.He noted that ASEAN unity is essential for addressing current and future challenges, including influence from major powers in the region. He highlighted Myanmar’s progress in holding elections and forming a government based on public representatives, while strengthening national security, rule of law, and governance.General Ye Win Oo reaffirmed Myanmar’s commitment to an independent foreign policy, fostering good relations with neighbors and partners, and actively cooperating with ASEAN members to ensure regional peace, security, and development for all citizens.The meeting approved the 2-year Activity work Plan (2026-2028)  and Joint Statement of the 23rd ACDFM.
