“Youth are precious treasures who play a central and valuable role in both present history and the future history of the nation. Moreover, they are important human resources for nation-building.The strength of the younger generation is one of the greatest driving forces for the long-term stability, modernization, and development of the country. All youth is wanted to understand this clearly,” said Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services General Ye Win Oo during a meeting Monday morning with trainees and instructors from the Basic and Advanced Maritime Youth Training Course No. (1/2026), the Basic Aviation Youth Training Course No. (10), and the Advanced Aviation Youth Training Course No. (9), at Zeyathiri Beikman in Nay Pyi Taw.The Commander-in-Chief further urged the young trainees to become a new generation filled with patriotism and love for the country, and to begin striving from now on so that they may one day shoulder the responsibilities of the nation in the future.He encouraged them to improve themselves from a young age in order to protect and safeguard the motherland, to build their lives through education, and to learn from the many experiences they encounter throughout life by adopting good practices and avoiding bad ones. He expressed his wish for them to become future leaders who would make their parents proud and earn the trust of the nation as capable and modern citizens with the spirit of “strength and progress.”Afterwards, the Commander-in-Chief presented commemorative gifts to the maritime and aviation youth trainees, and the trainees in return respectfully presented commemorative gifts to the Commander-in-Chief.Subsequently, Ma Phyo Thinzar Lin from the maritime youth training course and Ma Win Theingi from the aviation youth training course explained the maritime and aviation experiences they had gained during the training, along with the knowledge and benefits they received from the courses. They also delivered words of gratitude.Following this, the Commander-in-Chief hosted a tea reception for the trainees and instructors from the maritime and aviation youth training courses, while the Myawady Music Band performed songs in honor of the occasion.Later, the Commander-in-Chief and accompanying members warmly greeted the trainees and instructors from both the maritime and aviation youth training courses. Before attending the honorary meeting ceremony, the maritime and aviation youth trainees toured exhibitions displayed inside Zeyathiri Beikman.These included weapons manufactured by the Myanmar military, various uniforms used by the Army, Navy, and Air Force, communication equipment produced by the Myanmar military, scale models of naval vessels produced by the Navy, naval equipment and accessories, scale models of aircraft and helicopters used by the Air Force, pilots’ uniforms and equipment, and flight simulation demonstrations using simulators.Responsible officials explained the exhibits and answered questions of interest from the trainees, it’s reported.mitv
