Turkiye continued to support its partner nation Somalia by advancing healthcare services and medical training. In Mogadishu, the Recep Tayyip Erdogan Training and Research Hospital, operating since 2015, provided specialized treatment across multiple medical fields on a 63,000-square-meter campus with 250 beds.

The hospital delivered care including neonatal services and expanded dialysis capacity while also training Somali medical staff. Turkish doctors and specialists transferred clinical expertise to local healthcare workers across departments, including surgery, emergency care, and radiology.

The opening ceremony for the Induction Skills Training Course No. (1/2026) for Deputy Auditors and Assistant Auditors, conducted at the Advanced Accounting and Auditing Training School in Nay Pyi Taw under the Office of the Auditor General of the Union, was held Monday morning at the Nawarat Hall of the Office of the Auditor General of the Union using a hybrid system.The Auditor General of the Union, Daw Naing Thet Oo, delivered the opening remarks. This training program is one of the priority implementation activities to be carried out within the first 100 days for the benefit of the public.It aims to systematically develop human resources within the Office of the Auditor General of the Union and create a high-quality and efficient workplace through proper training and capacity building.The training will include topics essential for Deputy Auditors and Assistant Auditors, who form the basic workforce of the Office of the Auditor General of the Union. These include civil service personnel’ rights and responsibilities, codes of conduct and disciplinary rules to be followed, financial regulations and office procedures, duties and responsibilities prescribed under the Auditor General of the Union Law, and the functions currently being carried out by the various departments under the Office of the Auditor General of the Union. A total of 28 Deputy Auditors and 14 Assistant Auditors will attend the training, which will be conducted for approximately four weeks, from May 25, to June 22, at the Advanced Accounting and Auditing Training School in Nay Pyi Taw.Similarly, in the afternoon, the Auditor General of the Union attended and delivered remarks at an engineering knowledge-sharing discussion for inspection activities jointly organized by the Ministry of Construction and the Office of the Auditor General of the Union, Mandalay Region Auditor General’s Office.The discussion aimed to ensure the quality of projects being implemented under the 100-Day Plan, the proper and effective use of public funds, and improved compliance with standards and regulations, it’s reported.         mitv

The opening ceremony of the Basic Household Electrical Wiring Training Course, jointly organized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and the Government Technical High School under the Ministry of Science and Technology, was held Monday morning at the Government Technical High School in Nay Pyi Taw.In his opening remarks, Vice Chairman (1) of the Central Committee for Youth Affairs and Union Minister for Youth Affairs, Dr. Maung Thein, stated that it is important to use electricity safely, as electricity has become an essential and widely used necessity in both urban and rural areas.He said that electricity is an indispensable part of daily life and that by attending the training course, participants would be able to repair electrical appliances and electrical faults on their own using the skills they acquire. This would help reduce household expenses and contribute to easing family financial burdens.He also encouraged the trainees to share the skills and knowledge they learn and become individuals who can assist and support their communities.Afterwards, the Union Minister presented commemorative gifts to the instructors who would be teaching the course.Following the closing of the ceremony, the Union Minister and responsible officials toured the teaching aid exhibition room and the training hall at the Government Technical High School.Subsequently, the Union Minister visited Pan Tin Village Basic Education Middle School in Ottarathiri Township, Nay Pyi Taw, and donated 100 dozen exercise books for students to the principals of the school, it’s reported.mitv

All youth is wanted to understand this clearly,” said Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services General Ye Win Oo during a meeting Monday morning with trainees and instructors from the Basic and Advanced Maritime Youth Training Course No. (1/2026), the Basic Aviation Youth Training Course No. (10), and the Advanced Aviation Youth Training Course No. (9), at Zeyathiri Beikman in Nay Pyi Taw.The Commander-in-Chief further urged the young trainees to become a new generation filled with patriotism and love for the country, and to begin striving from now on so that they may one day shoulder the responsibilities of the nation in the future.He encouraged them to improve themselves from a young age in order to protect and safeguard the motherland, to build their lives through education, and to learn from the many experiences they encounter throughout life by adopting good practices and avoiding bad ones.
