Magway Region Chief Minister U Tin Ko Ko, and Speaker of the Magway Region Hluttaw, Dr. Maung Maung Htay, along with responsible officials, inspected the land development process for providing land to Tatmadaw personnel and their family members who have diligently performed national security duties Thursday morning in Nan Kat Kyun  Village Tract, Magway Township.

First, upon arrival at the land development worksite, the Chief Minister, Speaker, and responsible officials were briefed at a temporary briefing hall.

Officials presented updates on various aspects, including the status of single-line road and bridge construction within Plots No. 1, No. 2, and No. 3 designated for free allocation to Tatmadaw personnel and their families, specifically, the raising of road embankments and the laying of laterite gravel, the installation of two transformers and the construction of power lines to provide electricity, and the completion status of windbreak planting.

Following these presentations, the Chief Minister provided guidance on necessary requirements, coordinated with officials across sectors to address needs for expediting the completion of the works, and conducted an on-site inspection tour of the worksite.

Subsequently, the Chief Minister and responsible officials inspected the selection of a 26.35-acre plot of uncultivated land located at Plot No. 1693, Htone Pauk Taw ထုံးပေါက်တော Village, Magway Township, as a multi-faith cemetery site. The Chief Minister then instructed the relevant departmental teams to proceed in accordance with land procedures and regulations to obtain usage permits based on the designated land usage categories, it’s reported.
