The fast-food chain KFC is opening a pop-up restaurant for Christmas in Roppongi, one of Tokyo's busiest entertainment districts, offering customers dishes inspired by Japan's "Christmas chicken" tradition.

In Japan, ordering KFC for Christmas Eve has become a custom dating back decades. The signature product, Party Barrel, which comes in a Christmas-themed December bucket gives customers a sense of special occasion.
