    Terrorists are ruthlessly carrying out abductions, killings and armed attacks, using both heavy and small weapons, improvised rocket attacks on wards and villages, as well as conducting drone strikes, all with the intent to harm civilians and instill fear among the public.
    Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 7 May 2026 at 12:00 AM, while Ko Pyae Phyo Hlaing (29 years old), a resident of Taung Lal Taw Village in Ngazun Township of Mandalay Region, was at his “Moe Thu Zar” tea shop in the village with U Pyay Thaung (71 years old), U Paw Oo (45 years old), U Lin San (38 years old) and Mg Hein Wunna Aung (1 half years old), all residents of the village, a heavy weapon shell fired by so-called PDF terrorists exploded at the shop. As a result, U Pyay Thaung and U Lin San died on the spot, while the remaining individuals sustained shrapnel injuries. The injured individuals were transported to Tada-U District Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
    Similarly, at 6:45 PM, on the same day, a report stated that two men with shrapnel injuries were admitted to Taungoo Township Public Hospital in Bago Region. When security personnel arrived at the hospital to conduct further investigation, the victims were identified as U Kyaw Tun (45 years old), a resident of Bwar A Su Village in Htantabin Township and Mg Ar Zar Ni (12 years old), a resident of Thit Chauk Khin Village. According to the investigation, at 11:00 AM, while the victims were near a jetty in Bwar A Su Village, a bomb dropped by a drone operated by so-called PDF terrorists exploded nearby, resulting in their injuries, it is reported.
    According to the above mentioned cases, local residents are condemning and protesting against the indiscriminate firing of heavy weapons, small arms, improvised rockets and drone attacks by dropping bombs on wards and villages. In response, security personnel, in collaboration with local residents, are intensifying security measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for the incidents, it is reported.
