To widely inform parents and the public about the school enrolment week, the posters bearing the motto “Let’s Enrol All School-Age Children for Sustainable Development of the Country”, were erected yesterday morning at schools in Myeik.
The posters bearing the motto “Let’s Enrol All School-Age Children for Sustainable Development of the Country”. measuring six feet by three feet each, were erected at BEHS 1, BEMS 5 and BEHS 5 by township management and administration committee chairman U Pyi Hein Kyaw, district education officer U Than Htike, departmental officials, headteachers, and teachers.
The school enrolment week is from 25 to 31 May, and officials will continue installing awareness posters and notices to widely inform parents and the public, including instructions for principals and teachers, appeals to parents and guardians, enrolment campaign notices, and information related to school enrolment activities. The schools are scheduled to open on 1 June nationwide.
According to the Township Education Office, preparations are currently underway at various schools in Myeik township to enable students to attend classes for the 2026-2027 academic year.
