Nearly 5,000 students worldwide are competing in the “Icebreaker of Knowledge” science expedition contest, which began May 5 with an online quiz. Participants from 23 countries, including Myanmar, are taking part, with the highest numbers from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Belarus.

After a second stage featuring webinars by Rosatom experts, 10 finalists from each country were selected. They will now complete a creative task, with winners earning a 10-day Arctic expedition aboard the nuclear icebreaker “50 Years of Victory” in August. Winners will be announced on June 23.
