Speaker of Pyidaungsu Hluttaw and Amyotha Hluttaw, U Aung Lin Dway, received Ms. Ma Jia, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Myanmar, Wednesday in the reception hall of the Amyotha Hluttaw building in Nay Pyi Taw.

During the meeting, the Speaker discussed candidly and openly the need to enhance cooperation between the National People’s Congress of China and Myanmar Hluttaws; how China’s economic successes and new policies can create opportunities for neighboring countries, including Myanmar, efforts to build a country-appropriate region-based federal system to strengthen its path toward a democratic nation, the new government’s 100-day peace plan, including invitations to peace talks from April 20 to July 31, 2026 and the importance of border region stability and deepening bilateral cooperation given the thousands of miles of shared border between the two countries.

Egypt’s President received on Monday President of the United Arab Emirates at Cairo International Airport, Egypt. Presidency spokesperson Ambassador stated that the UAE President’s visit to Egypt comes within the framework of the historical and solid fraternal relations between the two countries.

He affirmed the two leaders keenness to strengthen and consolidate the two countries’ ties, building on the achievements made within this framework over the decades since the founding of the United Arab Emirates by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, Former President of the United Arab Emirates.
