World Tourism Day : PM U Nyo Saw delivered the remarks at the ceremony

A Ceremony of 2025 World Tourism Day was held at Mingalarthiri Hotel in Nay Pyi Taw on Saturday.In his address on the occassion, the Prime Minister U Nyo Saw stated that the theme of World Tourism Day for this year is “Tourism and Sustatinable Transformation”.It is necessary to create opportunities, emerging skilled technology, innovation and entrepreneurs for sustainable development of the tourism industry. He added that since SMEs businesses play vital role in the industry, investments should be expanded in the production that tourist are interested in.Moreover, the government is easing the entry visa requirements for international tourists visiting Myanmar. The Prime Minister said it is important to maintain resources and to implement new destinations as well as to promote the consumption of Green Energy in the industry.He urged all to participate in implementing the development of the Tourism sector for the interest of the State and its people. Then, video message from Secretary General of UN Tourism and Video clip presenting the Myanmar’s tourism were screened.Afterwards, the Prime Minister U Nyo Saw and Union Minister of the Ministry(1) of President’s Office U Tin Aung San presented awards and certificates of honors to the winners including the best services hotel, and Contests of Paper Reading, Photos, Articals, Essay commemorating the World Tourism Day. After posing for the group photos, the Prime Minister and party viewed the documentary photos of Myanmar’s tourism displayed in the hall.mitv
