Tianjin gears up to host largest-ever SCO Summit
Tianjin Municipality recently completed a multitude of logistical and cultural upgrades to host the largest-ever Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit. The summit will take place on August 31st and September 1st in the northern Chinese port city.
In preparation, the municipality has standardized English directional signs at rail transit stations, incorporated SCO-themed decorations, and upgraded translation equipment to enhance international service capacity. This year’s SCO Summit will convene leaders from more than 20 countries and heads of 10 international organizations, marking the largest gathering in the organization’s history and underscoring its growing global influence and deepening cooperative agenda.
